What started as a single feature inside YouCam Makeup evolved into a full-scale AI-powered skincare diagnostic platform. Working closely with engineers and product managers, we expanded the solution from mobile to WeChat mini programs, Taobao integrations, and branded skincare websites.

During COVID, we saw strong adoption from global beauty clients like Estée Lauder Group, which led to a new phase: scaling the solution into clinics through the Skin Analysis system.
As the UI/UX Project Manager, I translated complex clinical requirements into usable design logic. I collaborated with PMs on UX flow, led UI design for both app and embedded modules, and built prototypes to align regional teams. Deliverables included the design system, scalable interface components, and brand-adaptable layouts.

As the market cooled after the pandemic, conversations with our engineering team uncovered an opportunity: simulating aesthetic outcomes. The new feature is designed to help visualizing facial treatment results before committing.
Launched in 2025, the feature has since been widely adopted by partners. It also marked the beginning of a new direction, an integrated AI consultation tool that combines diagnostics, simulation, and personalized treatment planning.
